Working through the UK immigration process can feel like you are trying to find your way through a maze. When we first reached out to Depner Immigration Consultants two and a half years ago, we were stressed, overwhelmed and unsure how to even begin our spousal visa application (with two kids in tow). Our case was complicated and we knew we needed someone who not only understood the rules but who could guide us with patience. Daniel became that person from the very first call. He broke everything down in a way that made sense and helped us gather what felt like a mountain of evidence without ever making us feel out of our depth. When that first visa was approved, we knew that his support had played a huge role.
Fast forward to the next stage of the process. Another two and a half years had flown by and it was time to submit the renewal. We expected it to be straightforward, yet it turned into one of the most stressful moments of the entire journey. We had already booked flights for a December holiday abroad and only then realised that you cannot leave the country when your renewal is pending. I found Depner Consultants on Facebook in February this year. I had ILR coming up and I knew my case would be complicated. Daniel was very professional throughout and everything was explained and arranged timeously. He had to put in a lot of extra effort dealing with the Home Office on my behalf because of a technicality that could have sent me back to SA but he did what he does best and I received my ILR within 5 months. He arranged all my appointments for the necessary tests etc. Documents were uploaded to HO. He was also very helpful financially as I did not have all the funds ready at once. He was decent enough to work a payment plan out for me. I specifically wanted a fellow South African to guide me through this process and I have no regrets. I look forward to next year when with Daniel’s assistance again, I apply for my passport.
